Over 9 years ago, I recorded the first Chasing The Vibe. It was a way for me to share the music I was playing and to keep me active in music, considering I had paused performing live to focus on my life.
Although the music I’ve shared has changed over the years, the vibe has remained the same, and this mix might be my favourite. After returning from Balance Croatia, my energy has changed, and I feel much more uplifted and positive after feeling disconnected for the last six months. I wanted to put together a mix that captured part of what I felt and heard at Balance. I also wanted to share warm and uplifting melodies as summer ends.
This brings me to who I shared it with. I haven’t been in Victoria much this year, but I wanted to share this mix live with friends. I am deeply thankful to have met many amazing people and friends through the music scene in Victoria, and most of them showed up, which means so much to me!! Special thanks to Ryan Davys and Ryan Lockhart for spearheading this set live in Fernwood.
